The Easter season is always one of celebration: new life, new hope and new destiny! We celebrate the victory won by our Savior, Jesus Christ by overcoming death, hell and the grave. His victory came with a price - Jesus gave His life, took our place and paid the penalty for our sin.
On Good Friday, we are remembering Christ’s death and his sacrifice in an intimate setting. Connect groups are getting together around the dinner table to share what Christ’s work on the cross has meant in their lives. This is our way of fulfilling Christ’s command to ‘do this in remembrance of me.’
